Beatbullying and YouTube are working together in a ground breaking campaign to raise awareness of how to avoid and prevent bullying. Together we are creating a Beatbullying YouTube channel, to showcase everything that is great about anti-bullying work in the UK.
The channel will show short video messages from some of the world’s most famous personalities, offering practical advice on bullying and how we can prevent it.
Alongside the celebrities, the channel will feature young people and professionals talking about their experiences of bullying and the bullying prevention work they’ve been doing.
In addition, we will be showing all the best anti-bullying videos produced by you, so look out for how to send us your clips soon.
All videos will be collated in a Beatbullying Channel on YouTube to be launched in Anti-Bullying Week on 19 November 2007.
This is the first time Google and YouTube have worked so closely with a charity to raise awareness of an important issue. The combination of Beatbullying’s expertise and YouTube’s access to young people who need the help is truly groundbreaking.
